Community Outreach

Community Outreach is important. As a small, rural congregation most of our outreach takes place individually in the day-to-day interactions we have with our neighbours and school/work communities. We seek to model Jesus behaviour in all our words and actions so that others may see the love God has for them. We don’t claim to be perfect at it – but by God’s grace, we pray that more often than not we are a light that shines brightly, drawing people closer to Christ.

As a congregation we participate in the Camrose Neighbour Aid Foodbank program, Martha’s Table, by serving lunch once a week during the month of December. We also have a special “Santa Lucia” celebration in mid-December. The collection that evening (both food items and cash donations) go completely to the Camrose Food Bank.

We are also active prayer and financial supporters of the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute (CLBI) and the World Mission Prayer League (WMPL).

We may be small, but God can do big things when we work together!
